Festival of Food and Wine at Ascot

Ascot is a festival of fantastic horse racing, but this year there is also the added bonus of a two-day Italian food festival in the month of September, there are loads of guides on properly enjoying the weekend, where top class flat racing takes place among culinary attractions that will delight the senses. The Big Feastival  

Taking place over between the 23rd and 25th August, The Big Feastival is a combination of music, food and drink that is guaranteed to put a smile on any foodie’s face. Hosted by Alex James of Blur fame in the Cotswolds, this year’s line-up plays host to acts like Elbow, Jess Glynne and Sleeper. There’s also entertainment to enjoy, from campfires and arts and crafts, to kids’ playgrounds and bandstands. But the feature that will put a smile on any foodies’ face is the inclusion of numerous dining options, from food markets and cheese fondue supper clubs to breakfast bars and pop-up restaurants.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe

The Edinburgh Fringe is one of the most anticipated events in the UK – a lively mix of street theatre, comedy, arts and music. But the event is also home to some great food stalls and opportunities to enjoy great dishes and drinks. From street food trucks to bars, tents where you can sample delicious cuisines and snacks, and coffee spots, the Edinburgh Fringe is a must for food-lovers.
