Available to book from 1 May 2015, The View from The Shard and Fortnum & Mason will partner up to offer some sensational Sky-High Tea experiences. Celebrate the Great British summer-time with the city’s finest afternoon tea from the iconic 308 year-old home of fine food, dining and exquisite gifts at the top of London’s newest icon on the skyline.

Set to be one of the hottest attractions of the Summer, only a limited number of Fortnum & Mason picnic experience tickets (a mere 40 per day) will be available to book – starting 23 June. Situated on the 72nd floor, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious Fortnum & Mason ‘Hamperling’ filled with a classic afternoon tea selection on Level 72’s seasonal floral decorated open-air sky deck.

For those not quite brave enough to risk the weather (or being blown off the sky deck), tickets to The View from The Shard will also be available with a special Afternoon Tea package at Fortnum & Mason’s Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. Here you can enjoy the best of both London icons, taking in the spectacular views from The Shard and a visit to Fortnum’s in Piccadilly for afternoon tea in the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon.

Fortnum & Mason picnic ‘Hamperlings’ will be filled with classic finger sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, a miniature jar of raspberry jam, and their signature Royal Blend tea. For those who fancy a tipple of two, champagne can also be added when booking. 40 picnic tickets will be available from midday to 18:00 beginning 23 June until 8 September and prices will start at £85 for two people. Picnic packages are also available to book online at www.theviewfromtheshard.com
